You Have Questions, I Have Answers.

Coaching is a big decision—and it should be. You’re here because you’re curious, maybe even a little skeptical. That’s smart. This FAQ page is here to give you clear, honest answers to help you figure out if coaching is the right step for you right now.

Why Coaching?

  • Coaching is for leaders who are ready to get real results. The leaders I’ve worked with have gone on to build high-performing teams, land promotions, pivot careers, and redefine their impact in measurable ways.

This isn’t about hype. It’s about giving you the tools, strategies, and clarity to achieve what you’re truly capable of. Think about it this way: if you could invest $1 to make $10, wouldn’t you? Coaching is about building skills and clarity that generate exponential returns—not just in your career but in how you show up as a leader every day.

If you’re ready to invest in yourself, coaching will meet you there. Let’s talk.

  • Sometimes. A lot of people will tell you coaching isn’t about fixing things—it’s about “unlocking potential” or “accelerating progress.” And that’s true. But here’s another truth: most of the leaders I coach have something they’re working on—a blind spot, a skill gap, or even just a self-limiting belief that’s slowing their progress.

For example, I work with a lot of leaders who are technically brilliant but may feel less confident with interpersonal dynamics. Whether it’s leading teams, presenting in high-stakes meetings, or collaborating across functions, we create strategies to solve for those gaps in a way that feels authentic. Coaching helps you address challenges while positioning you to grow beyond them.

  • You could—but why would you want to? Coaching isn’t about taking the hard way. It’s about being strategic. A coach helps you see blind spots, avoid costly mistakes, and get where you want to be faster and with less frustration.

Smart leaders know that seeking coaching isn’t a sign of struggle; it’s a signal that you’re ready to level up. If you’re someone who’s constantly thinking, “I should already have this figured out,” let me tell you: coaching is a game-changer for people exactly like you.

Is Coaching Right for Me?

  • If you’re asking, it probably is. Coaching is for leaders who know they’re capable of more but feel stuck—or like something is holding them back. Maybe you’re navigating a high-pressure role, second-guessing decisions, or juggling competing priorities. Or maybe you’re just ready for more clarity and confidence.

Here’s the truth: you don’t have to figure this out alone. Coaching provides clarity, tools, and real accountability. Coaching is leverage—just like hiring an expert to solve a problem faster and better than you could on your own. If that resonates, let’s have a conversation.

  • I hear this all the time. Let me guess: you’re wondering if coaching will work for you, or if you’re the exception. Maybe you’re worried you’ll struggle to open up, or that your habits are too ingrained to change. Here’s the truth: I’ve never met someone who was truly uncoachable.

Coaching isn’t about being perfect—it’s about being willing. If you’re open to exploring new perspectives, even just a little, you’re coachable. And here’s the beauty of coaching: it’s not one-size-fits-all. It’s tailored to your goals, your pace, and your style. The fact that you’re here, reading this, tells me you’re more coachable than you realize.

  • That’s okay. Coaching doesn’t require you to have it all figured out—it’s actually designed to help you get there. Some of my clients come in with clear objectives like stepping into a new role or overcoming a specific challenge. Others start with a sense that something needs to change but aren’t quite sure what or how.

Coaching meets you wherever you are. We’ll uncover what’s holding you back, explore what you truly want, and create a clear, actionable plan to help you move forward. Sometimes, the best place to start is simply knowing you’re ready for more clarity, confidence, and momentum.

How Coaching Works.

  • It starts with clarity. In our first session, we’ll explore your goals, challenges, and what success looks like for you. From there, we’ll create a customized plan tailored to where you’ll see the biggest impact.

Every session is a mix of strategy, reflection, and action. We’ll tackle specific challenges, build new skills, and experiment with approaches to make you a more effective leader. Some sessions may feel like major breakthroughs, while others will lay the groundwork for bigger transformations. It’s a strategic, results-driven process that adapts to what you need as your goals evolve.

  • No preparation needed. Some sessions, you might come in with a specific challenge you want to tackle or a goal you want to focus on. Other times, you might not have anything planned—and that’s okay.

In fact, some of the biggest breakthroughs happen in unplanned moments. I’ve had clients start a session by saying, “I’m not even sure what to talk about today,” and walk away with an insight that changes their entire perspective. Coaching meets you exactly where you are.

  • Leaders I’ve coached have built high-performing teams, grown and sold companies, earned promotions, pivoted careers, and even defined their legacies. Coaching equips you with tools and strategies to make measurable progress toward your goals—whether that’s gaining clarity, improving your executive presence, or confidently navigating a high-stakes role.

The impact goes beyond your career—coaching influences how you lead, inspire, and show up in all areas of your life. As with most things, you’ll get out what you put in.

Let’s Talk Money.

  • Some clients are sponsored by their companies, while others choose to invest in coaching independently. If a company sponsors coaching, we usually set up alignment meetings with a key sponsor to ensure the coaching goals align with organizational priorities.

Self-funding, on the other hand, gives you more freedom to focus on your personal goals without tying coaching to company objectives. It’s a decision worth considering based on your goals and circumstances.

  • In many cases, yes! If you’re self-employed or using coaching to improve specific skills for your current role, it may qualify as a professional development expense. This means you might be able to deduct it on your taxes.

However, tax laws vary, so I always recommend consulting with your accountant or financial advisor to understand how coaching might fit into your tax strategy.

  • Yes, I offer flexible payment options to make coaching as accessible as possible. Whether you’re paying personally or through company sponsorship, we can discuss a payment plan that fits your budget during our initial conversation.

I Know What You’re Thinking…

  • I get it—your calendar is already packed, and adding one more thing feels impossible. But here’s the truth: coaching isn’t about piling more onto your plate. It’s about helping you focus on what truly matters, so you can spend less time spinning your wheels and more time making real progress.

Many of my clients say the clarity and strategies they gain in coaching actually free up hours in their week—because they stop wasting energy on things that don’t move the needle.

  • Coaching is an investment, but think about the return: exceeding expectations in your current role, earning a promotion, or achieving the work-life balance you’ve been craving. Coaching helps you deliver results that get noticed, build your influence, and create opportunities you didn’t even know were possible. The return on your investment will be exponential.

And let’s be honest: it’s not just about money. Feeling stuck, anxious, or uncertain about your future isn’t where you want to be. Coaching helps you thrive now while giving you the clarity and confidence to create the future you want. It’s about achieving your goals on your terms—with focus and freedom.

  • Honestly? I might not be. Coaching is a deeply personal partnership, and fit matters. You need someone who gets you, your challenges, and your goals—and that might not be me. But here’s the thing: I believe in coaching so much that, if I’m not the right fit, I’ll help you find someone who is. I have a trusted network of coaches, and my priority is making sure you work with the person who can truly help you thrive.

If you’re curious, let’s start with a conversation. You’ll get a sense of my coaching style, and even if we decide it’s not the right fit, you’ll leave with at least one actionable insight to move forward. I promise.
