You Need Better Managers. We Make That Easy.

Leadership development doesn’t have to be complicated—or outsourced.
The Leadership Lab gives you ready-to-run sessions, built for real managers, so you can deliver training that sticks in just one hour a month.

Founding Membership is open now. First session drops June 2025

The Real Problem Isn’t Participation. It’s Progress.

You’ve figured out how to get managers in the room.
But participation alone doesn’t lead to better leadership.

What’s missing? Space to think. Practice. Talk through real challenges—not just hear more theory.

The Leadership Lab helps you deliver practical, repeatable leadership development that builds real habits—without building a whole program from scratch.

Leadership Development That Scales—Without the Stress

The best leadership development happens in real conversations—not in one-off workshops or expensive trainings.

But scaling those conversations across a team? That’s the hard part.

The Leadership Lab makes it easy to deliver real development at scale.
You get ready-to-run sessions designed to build habits—without the prep, stress, or outside facilitator.

A Simple Plan to Build Better Managers—One Hour at a Time

1. Join the Lab and Launch with Confidence

You’ll get a strategy call, facilitator guide, and everything you need to deliver your first session—without the guesswork.

2. Run a Powerful, Ready-to-Go Session Every Month

Each month, you’ll lead an easy-to-run session that helps managers practice leadership, not just hear about it.

3. Grow Stronger Managers—and Become the Hero of Your Org

Watch Your Managers Grow—and Your Credibility Rise. You’re not just running sessions—you’re leading a culture shift.

No big team. No big budget. Just big results—one hour at a time.

  • “I still use the tools from those sessions today. They changed the way I lead.”

Dario Gutierrez, Co-Founder & Chief Science Officer, Merida Biosciences

  • “Angela’s manager training concepts are grounded in a deep understanding of what actually drives high-performing teams. These sessions allows managers, both experienced and new, to lead with intention, navigate conflict productively, and foster the kind of trust that turns good teams into great ones. I’d highly recommend her platform to anyone serious about growing leadership capabilities.”

    — Rob Tighe, Chief Science Officer, Ottimo Pharma

  • “The most impactful part of the manager meetups was how they naturally influenced the way I interacted with my team and peers. Even outside the sessions, people were talking about what they’d learned and checking in with each other. The real power was in bringing different leaders together to step away from day-to-day tasks and find common ground—even if just for an hour.”

    — Michelle Fleury, Associate Director of Research, Abata Therapeutics

  • “One session that’s really stuck with me was about firefighting. You shared a visual of a neighborhood—one house on fire, others at risk—and the message was clear: great leaders don’t just fight fires, they prevent them. That mindset shift has stayed with me. I still think about it often.”

    — Richard Decker, Scientist, JVT Advisors

  • Angela's monthly meetups really helped me understand how to navigate some of the common pitfalls of managing a high-performing team. Managing expectations and understanding how to provide feedback in a way that was constructive and motivating were some of the many lessons that helped me to grow as a manager. The monthly meetups were truly a source of inspiration!

    — Derrick McCarthy, Director of Immunology, Cour Pharmaceuticals

  • “What I appreciated most about the Manager Meetups was learning and practicing tools I still use today—like feedback models, clearly communicating expectations, and finding ways to engage my team around challenging goals. The focus on situational leadership was especially impactful—it helped me adapt my approach based on the needs of different team members and situations.”

    — Mike Lofgren, Director of Preclinical Research, Adaptimmune

  • "As a leader, I’ve always held myself accountable for being a mentor, coach, and cheerleader to not just my team but the whole team. I must add value to everyone in the organization, everywhere I can, to be and remain an effective leader. These meetups gave all of us a terrific forum to make that happen and drive action."

    — Stan Russell, Vice President of Quality, Cour Pharmaceuticals Development

This Isn’t Training. It’s Transformation.

Because You’re Done Wasting Time on Programs That Don’t Deliver

Hi, I’m Angela.

I’ve spent my career designing leadership programs inside fast-moving companies—first as a Chief People Officer and executive coach, now as the founder of The Leadership Lab.

Like you, I got tired of generic workshops that don’t stick. So I built something better: a system rooted in behavioral science, designed to help real managers build real habits—without starting from scratch.

At TCR² Therapeutics, I piloted this approach and saw:

✔️ 56% increase in manager effectiveness
✔️ 14% jump in employee engagement
✔️ A thriving manager community that supported lasting change

🟨 Managers said it was the most valuable development experience they’d had. Many still use the strategies today.

Now, The Leadership Lab brings that same impact to teams everywhere—without the cost or complexity of building your own program.

My mission is to help you build strong and effective leaders.

One conversation at a time.

Still Have Questions? Here’s What Other Founding Members Are Asking.

Whether you're still exploring or already excited, here are the most common questions HR and L&D leaders ask before joining.

What is the Leadership Lab?

  • A membership-based leadership development program for HR and L&D leaders who want to build stronger managers—without burning out, breaking the bank, or relying on outdated training models. Each month, you get a ready-to-run session designed to create real behavior change in just one hour.

  • Each month, you receive a complete session kit (facilitator guide, pre-read, and activities), done-for-you communications, and a live walkthrough call with Angela. Founding Members also get a 1:1 strategy call, a business case toolkit (in development), and access to a private peer group.

  • The Leadership Lab is designed for HR and L&D leaders at small to mid-sized companies who want to support their managers—without building leadership development content from scratch.

It’s also a great fit for coaches and consultants who deliver leadership programs and need high-quality content and a scalable framework.

  • Sessions focus on foundational leadership skills that make everything else easier—like building trust, navigating uncertainty, and fostering strong communication. These are the habits that strengthen teams, shape culture, and drive performance over time.

  • Ideally, anyone with a direct report— from first-time supervisors to senior leaders. When leaders across levels learn together, it builds shared language, stronger alignment, and better outcomes.

  • Nope. This is not manager training. It’s not about filling out reviews or checking boxes. These sessions help leaders reflect, talk about what matters, and build the habits that make them more effective every day.

  • This model works across industries, but it’s especially powerful for companies that are growing fast, navigating change, or trying to scale leadership with a lean HR/L&D team.

For this founding group, I’m looking for a range of orgs—biotech, healthcare, nonprofit, distributed teams—so we can shape a model that works everywhere.

  • You'll hear managers quoting the frameworks. You’ll see fewer interpersonal escalations. You’ll notice more thoughtful, strategic leadership. The proof is in how they show up.

How is it Different?

  • After years leading learning and development inside fast-moving orgs—and coaching leaders one-on-one—I saw the same challenges play out again and again:

Training that didn’t stick. Content that didn’t scale. And managers who wanted to grow, but didn’t have the tools.

My mission is to equip HR and L&D leaders with tools that actually create behavior change—so they can build the kind of managers people want to follow. Because when leadership development works, everything gets better.

I imagine a future where every employee has a manager who knows how to lead, not just supervise. Where companies stop failing because of operational gaps in leadership—and start executing with clarity, culture, and momentum.

And where HR finally gets the credit and influence it’s always deserved.

The Lab is how we get there—together.

  • Traditional programs are often one-time events or heavily theory-based. The Lab is designed for action and habit-building—one behavior at a time. It complements formal training by giving your managers something to practice every month.

  • Most leadership programs are built around content.
The Leadership Lab is built around behavior.

It’s not about what people learn—it’s about what they do.

Most programs teach managers new concepts… then send them back to teams that have never heard them. The Lab solves for that.

Every session creates shared language, repeatable habits, and conversations that carry into the real work. It’s active. It’s social. It builds habits—not hype.

And because it’s plug-and-play, peer-led, and scalable, it delivers what most programs can’t: actual culture change.

  • No. If you're in HR or L&D, you already have the most important skills: empathy, curiosity, and the ability to create space for meaningful conversation. The Leadership Lab is designed to build on what you already do well. Each session is structured to be simple, practical, and easy to lead—even if facilitation isn't your full-time job.

  • Most leadership programs are built around content. The Leadership Lab is built around behavior.

It’s not about what people learn—it’s about what they do.

Traditional trainings often drop managers into new concepts… then send them back to teams that don’t speak the same language. No wonder nothing changes.

    The Lab solves for that.

Every session creates shared language, repeatable habits, and real-time application to everyday challenges. It’s active. It’s social. It builds leadership from the inside out.

And because it’s designed to scale, you don’t just develop individuals—you start shifting culture.

  • The Leadership Lab is designed to amplify your existing strategy—not replace it.

It gives you a simple, scalable way to reinforce core leadership behaviors consistently across the organization. Whether you're building from the ground up or layering onto existing programs, these sessions fill the gap between one-off trainings and real-world leadership habits.

Think of it as your foundation for behavior change:

    • A monthly rhythm that keeps leadership top of mind

    • Practical conversations that translate strategy into action

    • A shared language leaders can apply across functions and levels

It's not just learning—it's habit-building. And it helps make the rest of your development efforts stick.

Don’t have a broader strategy? Don’t worry. This is a great place to start!

How Does it Work?

  • It works for both. You can run sessions over a virtual platform or in a live room. Each kit includes guidance for adapting to your setting.

  • Not really. If you’re in HR or L&D, you likely already have the core skills: listening, asking great questions, holding space. I’ll help you build the rest.

  • It’s about setting the tone:

    • Let them know this isn’t another check-the-box training.

    • Create space for reflection and conversation.

    • Connect the learning to real challenges.

    • And most importantly, keep showing up. That consistency is where growth lives.

  • No. The Lab is designed to support monthly sessions, but you can choose the pace that fits your team. Founding Members will help shape what best practices look like.

  • You’ll receive a quarterly roadmap of upcoming topics. As a Founding Member, you can also request topics for upcoming releases.

  • If it’s not already on the roadmap, you can request it. If needed urgently, Angela can make it available as a one-time purchase.

  • Each month’s session is released at the beginning of the month.

  • Walkthroughs are scheduled the first week of the month. You’ll get calendar invites and replays if you can’t attend live.

  • You’ll get a Zoom link each month via email and calendar invite.

  • For now, the kits will be delivered via email. I am evaluating membership portals and may migrate to one in the future.

What to Expect as a Founding Member

  • Founding Members aren’t just early adopters. They’re co-creators.
You’ll help shape the system that finally delivers leadership development that sticks.
You’ll help us define what great looks like—at scale.

    As a Founding Member, you’ll:

    • Get lifetime pricing, early access, and 1:1 support

    • Share what works (and what needs to evolve)

    • Help quantify and amplify the value of this approach

    • Be part of the case study that proves a better way is possible

  • Yes. You’ll start with a 1:1 strategy call to align the Lab with your org, rollout plan, and culture.

  • Yes. Founding Members influence the topic roadmap and get early access to new features.

  • Absolutely. As we develop new tools and templates, you’ll be the first to see and shape them.

  • The Lab will eventually open to more members at higher pricing. As a Founding Member, your rate stays locked.

  • Yes—I'd love that. Just book some time on my calendar.

Pricing & Terms

  • You can join monthly at $349 or quarterly at $699 (just $233/month). Both options include all core features.

  • Yes—as long as you remain a member in good standing. Founding Member pricing is guaranteed for life.

  • Membership is per facilitator. You can deliver sessions to as many managers as you like, but each person facilitating (and joining calls or the peer group) will need their own membership. This allows multiple HR or L&D leads in one company to support the teams they serve—and grow their facilitation skills together.

  • Yes. You can cancel anytime before your next billing cycle. That said, this is a pilot launch. If something isn’t working, we want to fix it with you. Founding Members are invited to shape the experience—not just consume it.

  • You can rejoin later, but at the current rate—your Founding Member rate won’t carry over.

  • Because this is a Founding Member program, we’re asking you to help shape the experience with us. If something doesn’t feel like a fit, we want to hear from you and adapt it together. Refunds aren’t offered, but collaboration is the default.

  • I’d love to hear from you. Just send me a note at angela@justicegroupadvisors.com and I’ll get back to you personally. Whether you’re wondering if this is the right fit or just need help deciding, I’m happy to talk it through.

Coaches & Consultants

  • Yes—if you are the one facilitating the session. This is a great tool to enhance your leadership offerings without having to build everything yourself. You’ll get ready-made kits, expert guidance, and the ability to adapt the content to your clients’ cultures. It saves you time, strengthens your credibility, and allows you to deliver high-value engagements. What you may not do is resell the content as a standalone product.

  • Yes. The kits are designed to be adapted for different teams and cultures.

  • No. You can use the content in your delivery, but not resell, rebrand, or distribute it as your own.

  • Possibly. Founding Members will help shape how this evolves.

  • Yes—if you are facilitating each session directly and maintaining quality of delivery. If you want to equip multiple clients to run sessions on their own, reach out—we’re exploring licensing models and would love your input.

  • Not formally at this stage. But we’re actively exploring how to recognize and support consultants who help scale the Lab. Founding Members will shape what this could look like in the future.
